식물상(植物相, flora)은 특정 지역에 자라고 있는 모든 식물의 종류를 가리키며 동물상에 대비한다. 식물군으로도 부른다.
세균성 물질, 조류 따위의 물질들은 이따금 식물상(flora)으로 부르기도 하는데, 이를테면 세균의 식물상인 세균총(세균군, bacterial flora)과 식물의 식물상(plant flora)이 별개로 사용되는 데에서 알 수 있다.
분류
식물상은 환경에 따라 다음과 같이 구분한다.
- 재래식물상(Native flora): 특정 지역에 토착해 있던 식물들
- 농업·원예식물상(Agricultural and garden flora): 사람이 섬세하게 길러놓은 식물들
- 잡초식물상(Weed flora): 이 분류는 전통적으로 필요 없다고 여겨지는 식물들에 해당하며, 이들을 제거하고 통제하기 위해 연구된다.
